This visual arts exhibition will showcase the intricate and diverse nature of skin tones across the three levels of the wonderful historic building. Experience a fusion of photography, video, projection mapping, assemblage and more, delving into the relationship between light, skin, perceptions and emotions.

Opening Reception - Nov 2nd from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Be the first to experience the artwork in a cosy atmosphere and get an opportunity to learn the stories behind the artworks.

Panel Discussion: From the Skin to the Roots - Nov. 7th at 5:30PM

Participants in the project will share how their skin tone is intertwined with their cultural heritage, exploring the practices and beliefs surrounding skin tones in their communities, followed by a Q&A session.

Workshop 1: Pocket Cinema - Nov. 9th at 2:30PM

Navigating the challenges of filming contrasted skin tones with limited equipment.

Workshop 2: Fundamentals of Photography for Beginners - Nov. 16th at 2:30PM

Understanding the basic features of cameras and how each plays a role in skin tone representation.

Closing Reception - Nov 2nd from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Deep dive into the challenges of skin tone representation in media arts and avenues to make a positive change. Followed by Q&A.
