The City of Calgary Vaccine Passport Bylaw

Starting September 23, certain businesses, entities and events must require proof of vaccination, a negative test result or a medical exemption letter.

Under this bylaw, business operators are required to display messaging in public entryways. The City's community peace officers and police officers will be using a coordinated approach to respond to complaints, working with Alberta Health Services when required.

Stephen Avenue Safety Hub opens

On September 16th, the Stephen Avenue Safety Hub opened, allowing frontline CPS, Transit & Bylaw team members to maintain their connection to the community even when on break during their shifts.

The CDA is pleased to collaborate with so many partners to support safety and security in the downtown core by reducing the vacancy rate, increasing the visibility of uniformed presence in the core.
