Yahooooo do we love? Spoiler alert, it's you Calgary.
We're the hometown of the Calgary Stampede, the Caesar and believe it or not, we're also home to 333 days of sunshine every year. There's lots to love about our city so we turned some of our favourite hometown factoids into a series of seven YYC-themed Valentine's Day cards.
Find them at selected downtown businesses, hotels or with one of our Downtown Ambassadors starting February 8, 2021 and share the hometown love with the ginger to your beef*. Each card has been Riso-printed by local micro-printer Yolkless Press, bringing the feel of your favourite screenprint right into the palm of your hand, with colours you'll just have to see to believe. You can also download them at the bottom of this page to print at home.

What is Riso-printing?
Think of it as a cross between screen printing and photocopying. Like screenprinting, Riso printers print one colour at a time but it's done at high speed through a machine. Popular among the graphic arts and zine community because of it's relatively low cost for production, Riso printing gives you incredibly bright colours and one-of-a-kind unpredictability.
