Historic Fire Hall No. 1 is back!
In partnership with the City of Calgary, CMLC has reinvigorated one of Downtown Calgary's oldest landmarks, Historic Fire Hall No. 1.
Open for free performances every Saturday through September, it will also feature an art installation by local artists inspired by the site. Click the button below for more info and performance schedule details.
Good neighbours helping good neighbours
Calgary's first pay-what-you-can thrift store, Good Neighbour, has opened downtown! Located at 149 5th Ave SW, Good Neighbour is volunteer-run with loads of clothing, household goods, plants and more! (Diverting landfill waste at the same time as helping humans)
The Pitbull Poetry Reading Series
On August 11, 18 & 25, the Summer Stage will be home to The Pitbull Poetry Reading Series, hosted by spoken word artist and 3x Calgary Slam champion, Wakefield Brewster.
