Chinook Country Historical Society, a chapter of the Historical Society of Alberta, is pleased to present the 31st annual Historic Calgary Week (HCW) from July 23 through August 2, 2021.
Join us as we learn about and celebrate the history, culture, and community of Calgary and area with this year’s theme – Zooming Back: Unmasking Our History. There are virtual and in-person events and with more than 55 different walks, talks, tours and presentations there is something for everyone.
All events are open to the public and free of charge. Due to the continuing presence of COVID-19, preregistration is required for all events and there are attendance limits in place. Donations are graciously accepted and appreciated.
Discover historical treasures in our city by taking part in our History Hunt (available on our website) and challenge yourself with the HCW Crossword Puzzle that will appear in the Calgary Herald on July 23.
