Here to Tell: Faces of Holocaust Survivors is a commemorative and educational photography exhibition that shares authentic accounts of the Holocaust and life post-war, as told by living and deceased Holocaust survivors with a connection to Calgary. Through powerful portraits paired with the personal stories of 39 living survivors and 122 descendants, Here to Tell honours, educates and moves visitors. An 18-panel Yad Vashem - the World Holocaust Remembrance Centre - display accompanies the exhibition and reinforces important lessons about the Holocaust. In addition, visitors are offered a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Here to Tell in a 30-minute documentary shown at the exhibition. Admission is free thanks to the Calgary Downtown Association. Timed tickets required. Get them at https://www.glenbow.org. Here to Tell was organized by Holocaust and Human Rights: Remembrance and Education Department of Calgary Jewish Federation co-chairs, Marnie Bondar and Dahlia Libin.
